FREE Native Plants for Residents of Hornsby & Brisbane Councils
Every year, Hornsby council is giving away native plants to Hornsby and Brisbane residents. They will be giving out four plants per household for suburban areas and six plants per households for those who are in rural areas. Those plants are locally sourced and grown by volunteers and council staffs at the Councils Community Nursery. They are doing this because local native plants in a garden can attract native wildlife, and they are better suited to the local soil type. If you wanted to get plants for your garden, then you should hurry since they only have limited stocks available.
