Grab the Intel G6950 for only $33
Okay, so you want to build a spare computer inexpensively. When choosing a processor for the project, a particularly good model to pick up is the Intel G6950. This particular processor was the first release in the Pentium Dual Core line that was release back in 2008. It clocks in at 2.8 GHz, which is still fairly decent by today's standards. While it might lack all the advanced architecture that later Dual cores have, it is still pa fairly impressive CPU and will be able to handle most regular computing tasks. MSY is currently selling it for a low price of $33. You do need a LGA1156 mobo to use this one though.
